Yes hello
I am inaugurating a long series of posts that will follow the collected works of Oswald Spengler.
My plan is threefold.
- Notes on the entirety of Spengler’s published work
- Essays on historical, cultural, and philosophical matters (in the vein of Spengler of course)
- Translations of Spengler’s untranslated works
For now, I am mostly going to focus on parts 1 and 2.
Regarding the notes, I am planning to go in the following order:
- Decline of the West
- Man and Technics
- Prussianism and Socialism
- Other Political Writings
- Other Writings
- Years of Decision
Intermittently, I will be publishing essays here. Topics will include comparing Spengler and Hegel, Spengler’s choice of method, Spengler’s political ideology vis-à-vis 1930s German politics… and many more topics. But the bulk of the work should be these notes. I hope that these notes and essays will help those of you working your way through the corpus who are in need of some guidance and explanation.
Once I have exhausted Spengler’s translated corpus, I will begin publishing my translations of his untranslated works (mostly his work on metaphysics and his inquiries into prehistory).
Stay tuned for more and plz sub.

Is there a timetable for this? Looking to finish vol 1 of Decline this weekend. Can't wait to discuss!
